Privacy policy

What we collect

• Purchase: an order reference, the pack bought, and the e-mail address you give at checkout, used only to send you the code. Card details are entered on our payment partner's page and never reach our servers.
• Usage: for each generation we log the code used, the engine, the voice, the number of characters, the date and your IP address. This is needed to maintain balances, prevent abuse and enforce the free-trial limit.
• Your text and audio are not stored. The text is sent to the speech engine to produce the audio and is not kept afterwards. Generated audio is streamed to your browser and not retained.
• Cookies: one cookie remembers your language. Your code is kept in your own browser storage, if you choose so, never in a server session.

Processors

Speech synthesis is performed by a third-party engine under contract; it receives the text only. Payments are handled by our payment partner under its own privacy policy.

Retention

Order and usage records are kept for as long as needed for accounting and abuse prevention, then deleted.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about an order or a code, or request its deletion once the code is exhausted, through the contact page.
